Woman arrested for assault

On February 14, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 28-year-old Alicia Palmer of Edinburgh Street for an assault.

It is alleged that just after 9 p.m. the accused went to the residence of a female known to her and engaged in a verbal argument with that person. 

At one point the accused threw a lit cigarette down the shirt of the victim and left the scene. 

The accused was located by officers a short time later.  She was charged with one count of assault and given a court date of March 13, 2017.
