Male Arrested for Breaching Curfew Conditions Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 19 year-old Raymond Floyd of 292 Kingsford Road last evening and charged him with one count of breach of a release document.
Male Arrested for Breaching Curfew Conditions
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 19 year-old Raymond Floyd of 292 Kingsford Road last evening and charged him with one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that at approximately 1:30 am on the 22nd of September, officers stopped and checked a vehicle on Gloucester Street that the accused was driving and when they ran a check on him they discovered that he was on a curfew release document with the condition to be inside his residence unless with his surety. He is to appear in bail court this morning

Domestic Related Arrest
A 19 year-old male was arrested by officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service yesterday afternoon at a west end residence and charged with one count of threaten death and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the evening of the 18th of September the accused called his ex-girlfriend on the phone and threatened to murder her. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Male Arrested for Theft
Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 29 year-old Martin Ferland of no fixed address and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 20th of September the accused was at a residence of a person known to him, entered a bedroom area and stole some cash from a safety box. The accused is to appear in court on the 25th of October.

Break and Enter and theft Reports
• A residence on Terry Fox Place was entered last Friday morning. A Blue Ray player and 5 discs were reported stolen.
• A residence was entered sometime overnight on the 21st of September in the 600n block of Second Line West. It is not known at this time if anything is missing.
• A school construction site in the 300 block of Dacey Road was entered on the 20th of September. Numerous tools were reported stolen, some included – a Hilti Jackhammer, a Dewalt Sawzol. Three cordless drills, a Milwaukee skill saw a Diamond Quit cut Ryobi drill set.
• Vehicles have been entered over the past two days on St. James Street, in parking lots of the 600 block of Queen Street East and on Churchill Boulevard. Items stolen included – two purses, an iPod, a camera, a GPS, a wallet and identification.
