The Sault Police Services responded to 24 motor vehicle collisions yesterday. Most involved drivers losing control of their vehicles due to the arrival of winter conditions. Fortunately there were no serious injuries.
The Sault Police Services responded to 24 motor vehicle collisions yesterday. Most involved drivers losing control of their vehicles due to the arrival of winter conditions. Fortunately there were no serious injuries.

SNOW MACHINE ACCIDENT
A 21-year-old male received minor injuries last evening when the snow machine he was operating rolled over in a private driveway on Old Hwy. 17 North. Mark Lucio of 23 Central Creek was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for minor injuries. The accident occurred shortly after 7pm. Lucio was proceeding out the driveway and attempted to turn his 1999 Bombardier. The machine rolled over throwing the driver into a tree.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
The traffic unit is asking for public assistance regarding and hit-and-run accident last Wednesday, November 21, at approximately 9:45pm at the corner of Pine and McNabb Streets. A 1992 white Asunna (jeep-style vehicle) was proceeding west on McNabb Street just east of Pine when it was struck from behind by a black Ford
