Arrest:
31 year old Michael Corcoran of Kathleen Street in Sudbury was arrested hiding in the rear of his mother’s car earlier today in Elliott Lake. He was returned to Sault Ste. Marie this afternoon to face charges on outstanding warrants for failing to fulfill his intermittent sentence in August 2012. He is on conditions to attend jail to serve his sentence on Fridays at 8 p.m. and be released on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. He failed to attend and a warrant was issued.
44 calls for service today
Officers responded to 44 calls for service today including 8 motor vehicle collisions today in addition to those taken at the accident reporting centre.
Break and enter
A break and enter was reported from sometime overnight at Golden Crust Pizza on Second Line West. Investigation is continuing. A rear door was kicked in.
Theft
An unlocked vehicle was entered on Dearland Road overnight. Cash and a Samsung Galaxie cell phone were taken.
Breach of Probation:
On November 13, 2012 at approximately 10:30 pm Patrol Officers arrested Tina Waboose, age 23, and charged her with one count of Breach of Probation. Waboose was on conditions not to be in the downtown area in the Gore/Albert/Denis Streets area and officers located her there. She will appear in court on Dec 17th.
