Bail Court Appearance Arrests/Charged Persons with Court Appearance Dates:

Jason Hampleman age 18 years of 252 Groth Road, Goulais River, Ontario will appear in bail court on 09 May 2012 charged with one count of theft under $5000.00.  It is alleged that he and co- accused Nathan Patrick Rosene, age 18 years of 261 McNabb St., stole several items together from Dollarama on Second Line West.  Hampleman handed several items to Rosene who secreted them under his clothing.  Rosene will appear in court on 04 June 2012.

Dennis William Robinson age 20 of  21 Cathcart St, Sault Ste. Marie will appear in court 04 June 2012 charged with obstruct police,  possession of cannabis marihuana, possession of marihuana and possession of  2 Percocet tablets.  It is alleged that Robinson interfered with officers and attempted to remove items officers from a residence during an investigation.

Kevin Robinson age 23 years and Sheen Matchett age 24 years both of 224 Hudson Street were charged with several offences and both will appear in bail court on 09 May 2012. On the 8th of May 2012, members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service Street Team commenced a drug investigation in relation to Kevin Robinson.  Officers located Robinson in a vehicle.  Located in the vehicle was Sheena Matchett.  Robinson and Matchett are both bound by the conditions of a recognizance not to associate with each other.  Upon Robinson’s arrest, he was found in possession of a cellular telephone.  Matchett was found in possession of a knife that opened with centrifugal force (prohibited weapon), a small amount of cannabis resin.

Street Team members executed a search warrant at the residence of Robinson and Matchett at 2-224 Hudson Street and seized the following items: trace amounts of cocaine, 3 codeine tabs, packaging materials, digital scales, and pepper spray.  

Robinson was charged with 7 counts of breach of recognizance in relation to the following condition breaches: abstain from associating directly or indirectly with Sheena Matchett; remain in residence daily except with surety; reside in Garden River; not to possess non-prescription drugs; not to possess a cell phone; not enter Sault Ste Marie, Ontario with exceptions and return to Garden River immediately; not possess any prohibited weapon.  He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance x2 (codeine and cocaine).  Robinson was also bound by the condition of a weapons prohibition order and was also charged for breaching the conditions of this order as well as possession of a prohibited weapon.

Matchett was charged with 6 counts of breach of recognizance in relation to the following condition breaches: abstain from associating directly or indirectly with Kevin Robinson; reside at 3-429 Wellington Street East and notify change of address within 24 hours of the move;  not possess non-prescription drugs; not possess any prohibited weapon (two counts-knife and pepper spray).  She was also charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance (codeine, cannabis resin and cocaine).

Eric Michael Ayotte age 27 of no fixed address will appear in bail court on 09 May 2012 also charged with several offences.  It is alleged that on the 3rd of May 2012 Ayotte did attend a Goulais Avenue residence in the City of Sault Ste. Marie. He is charged with the offense of Break and Enter and commit the offense of Robbery by kicking in the door to the residence and stealing items from within. He is also charged with the offense of Robbery while in that residence by stealing two packages of cigarettes from a person in the residence after pepper spraying the occupants.

He is also charged with assault by pushing one of the occupants to the ground and he further it is alleged that he assaulted the occupant with a weapon by hitting them with the can of Mace.  He is also charged with the offense of Administering a Noxious Substance by allegedly “macing” the three occupants. He is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon in relation to the Mace.
