1) A 32 year old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with criminal harassment and one count of breaching his probation order. It is alleged that the accused showed up at a medical appointment of his son’s on the 12 May 2009. That upon completion of the doctor’s appointment the accused then climbed into the vehicle of his son’s mother, his ex who he is on conditions not to molest harass or annoy. The accused also made statements to the victim that caused her to believe that he has been watching her.

2) 31 year old Jason Michael Pinsent, of 37 Peacock Cres., was arrested and charged with one count of assault after an incident at Madison’s Pub. It is alleged that the accused was asked to leave the establishment when he began to argue with another patron. The owner asked the accused to leave at which time the accused assaulted the owner by punching him several times in the face. This occurred this morning at approx. 02:20 am.

3) 21 year old Joshua Eugene Amendola of 222 Rossmore Road will appear in court on the 15 June 2009 after an incident at Station Mall yesterday. At approx. 06:40 pm the accused entered the Mall where he is prohibited from attending at and was arrested for trespassing by Mall security. While being walked to the Security office the accused turned and punched a security officer but did not escape. Officers in the Mall for police week continued the arrest. The guard was not injured.

Robbery

Police are investigating a robbery from early this morning on McNabb St, by the YMCA. At approx. 03:57 the victim states he was approached by a male with a knife and took his money from him. The suspect then ran south towards Poplar Ave. The suspect is described as being a white male, 5’10” to 6 foot tall, wearing dark colored wind pants and coat grey hoodie. Victim states he could smell alcohol on the suspect. It is further alleged the suspect then punched the victim in the stomach before he fled. This investigation is continuing.
