Noise Complaint Leads To Arrest 39-year old Robert Nadeau of 3-517 Albert Street East was arrested last evening just before 11 pm and charged with one count of breaching a release document.

39-year old Robert Nadeau of 3-517 Albert Street East was arrested last evening just before 11 pm and charged with one count of breaching a release document. It is alleged that the accused was creating lots of noise in his apartment by banging pots and pans, jumping up and down in his apartment and playing loud music during a 2-1/2 hour period. The accused was on a release document with conditions not to cause noise or disturb other tenants in the building. Mr. Nadeau will appear in bail court today.

Home Depot Theif Busted

54-year old Alice Jeanveau of 120 Eastern Avenue was arrested late yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that on March 3rd the accused left the Home Depot Store located at 530 Great Northern Road with a roll of plastic sheeting without paying for it. The value of the plastic sheeting is just over $100. The accused will appear in court on April 10th.

Break And Enter

Yesterday afternoon City Police took a report of a break and enter to Bawating High School located at 750 North Street. A number of computers were taken. The investigation is continuing.

Two Motor Vehicle Collisions With Injuries

Yesterday morning just before 7:30 am officers from Traffic Services attended in the 200 block of Second Line East for a motor vehicle collision with injuries. A pickup truck operated by 34-year old Derek Gioventu of 706 Walls Road was disabled and stopped on Second Line East. A pickup truck operated by 56-year old Peter Denys of 5-140 Second Line West was traveling eastbound on Second Line East and ran into the Gioventu vehicle. Both drivers were taken to the Sault Area Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles sustained severe damage. Mr. Denys has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act on Ontario with one count of fail to turn out to left to avoid a collision.

Just after 7:30 am City Police attended at Willow Avenue near Malabar Drive for another motor vehicle collision with injuries. A car operated by 50-year old Doris Boissoneau of 379 Lake Street was turning left from Willow Avenue into a private drive. It is alleged that a car operated by Ann-Margaret Graham of 98 Pawating Place was attempting to overtake the Boissoneau vehicle on the left when the vehicles collided. Mrs. Boissoneau was taken to the Sault Area Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Both vehicles sustained severe damage. The investigation is continuing.
