Arrests Made For Abduction At approx. 11:20 AM yesterday morning City Police were called to attend at 19 Hussey St. in regards to a possible abduction. Upon arrival of the police officers they found a marihuana grow operation in the residence.

At approx. 11:20 AM yesterday morning City Police were called to attend at 19 Hussey St. in regards to a possible abduction. Upon arrival of the police officers they found a marihuana grow operation in the residence. It is further alleged that two males, which were in the residence, did forcibly confine a female at that residence. The female is alleged to have been dragged into the residence where she was handcuffed, confined and threatened with various weapons. The two accused were located in the residence upon police arrival. Charged are:

1.Ryan Scott Leindecker, age 19, of 217 Hugill St. Mr. Leindecker is charged with: Weapons Dangerous, Wearing a Disguise while committing an Offence, Forcible Confinement and Threatening with a Weapon.

2.Chris David Roussel, age 24, of 217 Hugill St. Mr. Roussel is charged with: Weapons Dangerous, Wearing a Disguise while committing an Offence, Forcible Confinement and two counts of Threatening with a Weapon.

The owner of the residence, Paul Thomas Mozarowski, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Production of a Controlled Substance. It is alleged that

Mr. Mozarowski was growing marihuana at his residence. Police seized two full-grown marihuana plants along with 44 smaller plants at the residence. Also seized in the residence were plastic baggies containing marihuana. The accused, Paul Thomas Mozarowski, age 49, of 19 Hussey St, will be appearing in court on Monday April 24th at 9:00 AM.

Man Arrested For Robbery & Death Threat

Yesterday afternoon at approx. 2:20 PM City Police executed a warrant at a west end address and arrested a young person and charged him with Robbery and Threatening Death. It is alleged that the young person did on March 19th rob a male person of a quantity of money. This robbery took place on Second Line W. near Goulais Ave. at approx. 2:00 AM Sunday March 19th. During the robbery the accused, in company with two other males, is said to have kicked and punched the victim. The accused is also alleged to have threatened to kill the victim while holding a gun to the victim’s head. During the robbery the victim suffered a head injury and was kept in the hospital for observation. The accused is charged with Robbery and Threatening Death and will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM. The investigation into the identity of the two other suspects is continuing.

Break & Enter

City Police investigated one report of Break and Enter in the past 24 hours. The break-in took place at a residence in the 300 block of Pine St. Culprits who then stole sports equipment and electronic items kicked the front door of the home.
