The following three persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1) A 56 year-old male was arrested on the 10th of July just after 2 pm at the city police station after turning himself in on a domestic related incident.
The following three persons will be appearing in bail court this morning:

1) A 56 year-old male was arrested on the 10th of July just after 2 pm at the city police station after turning himself in on a domestic related incident. The male has been charged with one count of criminal harassment. It is alleged that between the 9th and 10th of July the accused had contacted his ex-girlfriend several times and attended her workplace and residence. It is alleged that the accused had been previously warned by police in March regarding harassing the same ex-girlfriend.

2) A 25 year-old male was arrested at his centrally located residence around 8:40 pm and arrested on outstanding warrants relating to domestic related incidents. The accused has been charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief. It is alleged that on the 29th of May 2006 the accused grabbed his common-law wife by the hair and pushed her down the stairs. There were no injuries reported by the victim at that time. It is further alleged that on the 19th of May 2007 the accused got into an argument with the same common-law wife at her residence and punched and smashed two windows in the residence causing approximately $400.00 damage.

3) 29 year-old Ryan Pietarinen of 40 Springbank Drive in London Ontario was arrested on the 11th of July around 2:48 am on Lake Street and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm. It is alleged that at approximately 2:45 am this morning the accused was walking his dog on Pleasant Avenue and made threats to a female resident in that area that was standing near her vehicle in her driveway. It is alleged that the male threatened to key the victim’s vehicle. The accused left the area and returned a few minutes later and threatened the same female again advising her that he was going to have his dog attack her and he was going to kill her. Police checking the area after receiving the call observed a male fitting the description getting into a vehicle on Pine Street. The male was stopped in his vehicle at Pine Street and Macdonald Avenue and was arrested and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm. The accused and victim are not known to each other.

Underage Drunk Driver in Stolen Truck

On the 11th of July around 1:30 am city police were contacted by a resident on Peoples Road regarding a possible impaired driver. The caller advised that a newer dodge ram pick-up had driven into the ditch across from his residence and was stuck there. The caller further advised that the male driver appeared to be impaired. Police attended and located the 16 year-old male driver at the vehicle and it is alleged that the accused was found to be under the influence of alcohol. There was also a 14 year-old female passenger in the vehicle. The two youths were not injured. When officers ran a check on the plate and vehicle they discovered it had been reported stolen earlier around midnight from a residence on Laura Street. Officers discovered that the two youths had spray painted vulgarities on the front console of the vehicle. There was minor damage to the front bumper of the truck. The two youths were arrested and charged:

1) The 16 year-old male driver was charged with one count of theft over $5,000.00, one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of mischief under $5,000.00 and once count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit.

2) The 14 year-old female was charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of mischief under $5,000.00.
They are both to appear in court on the 14th of August.

Break & Enter

There was one break and enter reported yesterday to a garage on River Road. It occurred between the 7th of July and the 10th of July. Nothing appears to be stolen at the time.
