The following two persons are to appear in bail court this morning:

1) A 45 year-old female was arrested on the 27th of January at 9:36 am at the city police station on an outstanding domestic related warrant and charged with one count of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that on the 20th of January just after 9::30 pm the accused threw beer bottles at her common law spouse during an argument at their residence. The victim was struck in the shoulder and back area with the bottles but did not require any medical attention.

2) 46 year-old James Merrimen of 2367 Sandy Trail in Innisfil, Ontario was arrested on the 27th of January at the court house on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that the accused breached a recognizance release order on the 3rd of October, 2008 by failing to report to the John Howard Society as directed.

Male Youth Arrested on Outstanding Warrants:

A 15 year-old male youth was arrested on the 27th of January at 10:30 am at the court house and charged with one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 13th of January the accused failed to attend for prints at Police Services. He is to appear in court on the 3rd of March.

Break and Enter Reports:

• A residence on Fauquier Avenue was entered at approximately 9 pm last evening. A witness reported observing four males walking out of the residence around 9 pm carrying numerous items, then get into a black extended cab pick up truck and drive off. There is no further description and it is not known what exactly has been stolen at this time. The investigation is continuing.
• A residence in the 800 block of Second Line West was entered sometime between 6:30 am and 8 pm on the 27th of January. A German hockey sweater, a Toronto Maple Leaf Zippo lighter and cash were reported stolen.
• A garage in the 100 block of Spadina Avenue was entered during this past week. A snowmobile and helmet were reported stolen.
