Domestic A 37-year-old male is in custody and awaiting bail subsequent to several domestic related breaches. The accused was found at his ex girlfriend’s residence located in the downtown area on the 26th of January 2010 at 1:15 p.m.

A 37-year-old male is in custody and awaiting bail subsequent to several domestic related breaches. The accused was found at his ex girlfriend’s residence located in the downtown area on the 26th of January 2010 at 1:15 p.m. The male was arrested by police and an investigation revealed several breaches of his undertaking. He was subsequently charged with breaching his undertaking x 3 for attending at that residence, communicating with his ex girlfriend and not abiding by a curfew.

Robbery

27-year-old Christian Andrew Boissoneau of 173 Goulais Avenue is in custody and awaiting bail on robbery charges stemming from two separate incidents. It is alleged that on the 26th of January 2010 at approximately 10:26 p.m. the accused entered the Mac’s Convenience Store (187 Gore Street) brandishing a large knife that he used in demanding money. The clerk complied giving him a quantity of cash and the accused fled towards the downtown area. K-9 Taser attended with his handler and was assisted by patrol officers and members of the Emergency Services Unit in tracking the accused. However, he eluded capture at that time.
On the 27th of January 2010 at approximately 2:20 a.m. it is alleged that the accused was picked up by a local taxi cab at a residence on Boston Avenue. The accused directed the cab driver to the 700 block of Wellingtion Street East where he produced a sharp object, held it to the back of the drivers neck and threatened to kill him if he did not comply with his demand for money. The accused again fled on foot with a quantity of cash. Patrol officers immediately set up a perimeter in the area while K-9 tracked the accused with members of the Emergency Services Unit. The accused was located by diligent officers at 2:57 a.m. in an alley near the 100 block of Albert Street East. He was subsequently arrested for Robbery and officers determined that he had been responsible for the previous incident at the Mac’s Mart. Mr. Boissoneau was subsequently charged with Robbery x 2 and Breach of Probation x 2 (for not keeping the peace and being of good behavior). The cab driver was relatively unharmed but did attend the hospital for minor injuries.

UPATE

A 27-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck on the 25th of January 2010 at 1:17 p.m. on Huron Street at Queen Street West. It is alleged that the pedestrian was crossing Huron Street west from the northeast corner of the intersection but did so against the pedestrian no cross signal. As a result, she walked into the path of a motor vehicle that had effected a left hand turn from Queen Street West onto Huron Street. She was taken to hospital via ambulance where she was treated for minor non-life threatening injuries. The 51-year-old driver of the pickup truck was uninjured in the collision.

The 27-year-old pedestrian Jennifer Bradley of 588 Albert Street West was issued with a Provincial Offence Act Summons for a violation under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. She was charged for disobeying a “don’t walk signal”.

Break and Enter

A residence in the 500 block of Parliament Street was broken into sometime between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. yesterday (26th of January 2010). Several items were reported stolen including an X-Box 360, controllers and games.

Mischief

A shopping cart was thrown reported through the window of an apartment in the 600 block of Wellington Street East on the 26th of January 2010 at 10:04 a.m.
