Domestic Related Arrests A 26 year-old male was arrested on the 2nd of February at 10:14 am at the residence of his ex-girlfriend and charged with two counts of assault.

A 26 year-old male was arrested on the 2nd of February at 10:14 am at the residence of his ex-girlfriend and charged with two counts of assault. The accused allegedly assaulted her at her residence on the 29th of January and the 2nd of February. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. He is to attend in bail court this morning.

A 30 year-old male was arrested at 2:46 am this morning at a downtown residence and charged with one count of mischief and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused attended at the residence of his girlfriend, got into a verbal argument with her and caused some damage inside the residence. At the time he was intoxicated and on probation conditions not to consume any alcohol and to keep the peace and be good. He is to attend in bail court this morning.

A 44 year-old female was arrested on the 2nd of February at 11:30 am at the city police station and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm. It is alleged that on the evening of the 28th of January the accused called her ex-husband on the phone and threatened to kill him. She is to appear in court on the 17th of March.

Property Crimes

In the past 24 hours vehicles were reported entered in the areas of Boundary Road, Garden Avenue Caddy Avenue East Champagne Drive. Cash, keys, lottery tickets a Laptop Scotties Tournament tickets and a gas card were reported stolen.

Citizens should remember to keep their vehicles locked at all times and always remove anything of value. If anything of value must be stored in the vehicle, then it should be hidden from plain view or secured in the trunk. Vigilance by locking vehicles and removing items of temptation will greatly reduce incidents of theft.
