One person will appear in bail court this morning:

1) 37-year old Joseph Folgora of 88 Lorna Drive was arrested yesterday by officers from Patrol Services and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance. Officers attended at a local business regarding the male suspect acting in an unusual manner and located the accused along with 2.6 grams of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine and several codeine tablets at the business. It is further alleged that the accused had a substantial quantity of money on him. The estimated street value of the narcotics is $400.

Impaired Driving

55-year old James Marini of 2866 Highway 532, Searchmont was arrested last evening and charged with one count of impaired driving and two counts of possession of a controlled drug or substance. Officers observed a vehicle swerving on MacDonald Avenue and stopped the vehicle. It is alleged that the accused was under the influence of alcohol. A search of the accused located a small quantity of cannabis resin as well as 2 needles believed to contain narcotics. The accused will appear in court on the 26th of March.

Mischief under $5,000

A 25-year old female was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 12th of February the accused broke a window at her ex-boyfriend’s residence. The accused will appear in court on April 2nd.

Employee Charged with 4 Counts of Theft

Officers from Patrol Services arrested 39-year old Theresa Palmer of 239 Northern Avenue East last evening and charged her with 4 counts of theft under $5,000. I t is alleged that on 4 dates in February the accused removed money from the cash register at Tim Hortons on Great Northern Road while she was working. The estimated value of the monetary loss is $400. The accused will appear in court on March 26th.
