Domestic Related Arrests for Bail Court Appearance this Morning

Two males, 24 and 27 years of age, wanted on outstanding warrants in relation to a domestic related incident, were located at a downtown residence last night just after 11 pm and arrested. It is alleged on the 6th of February at approximately 10:25 pm the 24 year-old accused male broke into his ex-girlfriend’s residence with the co-accused, assaulted her with a wooden stick and threatened to kill her if she called police. An undisclosed amount of cash was also stolen from the victim at the time of the incident.
The 24 year-old accused has been charged with one count of break, enter and commit the offence of robbery and one count of threaten death. The 27 year-old is charged with one count of break, enter and commit the offence of robbery. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the assault.

A 25 year-old male was arrested on the 16th of February at 1:03 pm at an east end location and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged that the accused assaulted his ex-girlfriend while at his residence on the 13th of February. The victim received non-life threatening injuries that did require some medical attention.

Male Youth Charged with Robbery

A 14 year-old male was arrested on the 16th of February at 2:48 pm at a west end location and charged with one count of robbery and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 12th of February the accused jumped a 15 year-old male youth that was walking on Goulais Avenue, pushed him to the ground, punched him several times and then stole his iPod. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as result. The accused is to attend court on the 23rd of March.

Shoplifting Arrest

A 14 year-old male youth was arrested on the 16th of February at 8:45 pm at Sears in the Station Mall and charged with one court of theft under $5,000.00 after he allegedly attended at the store last night and stole some clothing. He was apprehended by store security and held for police. He is to attend in court on the 9th of March.

Break and Enter Reports

• A residence on Hare Avenue was entered sometime yesterday. Electronics were reported stolen including a digital cable box, a Wii system and a laptop.
• There was an attempt break and enter reported to a residence on Cambridge Place between 4-6 pm last night.

Mischief Reports

• A window of a Dodge Caravan was smashed while parked in a lot in the 700 block of Bay Street.
• A vehicle window was smashed while it was parked in a lot on Kohler Street.
