Domestic Related Arrest for Bail Court Appearance this Morning:
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 22 year-old male at 4:50 pm yesterday and charged him with one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 5th of December at approximately 9:40 am the accused sent his ex-girlfriend a harassing text message and at the time he was on an undertaking order with conditions that he not communicate with her. He is to appear in bail court this morning.
Break and Enter/Theft Reports:
- A residence on Linstedt Street was entered between 11:30 am and 4 pm yesterday. A Playstation 3, some games for the unit, an iPod and some liquor were reported stolen.
- A bicycle was stolen from a garage on Simpson Street.
- Three vehicles were entered on Churchill Avenue, Henrietta Avenue and Wellington Street West. An iPod and some change were reported stolen.
Mischief Report:
A city transit bus window was reported broken.
