Six persons to appear in bail court: On Sunday December 26th members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 33-year-old male for four counts of breach of a probation order.
Six persons to appear in bail court:

On Sunday December 26th members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 33-year-old male for four counts of breach of a probation order. It is alleged that the accused male contacted his ex-common-law wife on four occasions between December 21st and December 26th. At the time of these offences the accused was on a probation order release with conditions to not communicate with the victim.

On Monday December 27th members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 27-year-old male for assault and five counts of breach of a probation order. It is alleged that on December 27th at approximately
5:00 pm the accused attended at the residence of his ex-common-law wife and assaulted her by punching her in the head. It is further alleged that at the time of this offence the accused was on a probation order release with conditions to not attend at the victim’s residence, to keep the peace and to not molest, harass or annoy the victim. The victim did not require medical attention as a result of the assault. The accused is charged with one count of assault and five counts of breach of probation.

On Monday December 27th members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 25-year-old male for breach of a probation order. It is alleged that at on December 27th at 11:00 pm the accused person was communicating and associating with his ex-girlfriend. At the time of this offence the accused was on a probation order release with conditions top not associate with or communicate with his ex-girlfriend. The accused is charged with two counts of breach of probation.

On Monday December 27th at approximately 11:35 pm members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 40-year-old male and a 22-year-old female for break and enter and robbery. It is alleged that at approximately 4:00 pm on December 27th the two accused persons forced their way into the victim’s residence, assaulted the victim and stole a small amount of cash from him. The accused then fled the area. Police arrested the two accused when they returned to the victim’s apartment at 11:30 pm. Jerry Leveille, age 40, of 203 Brien Ave and Jerrilee Tulloch, age 22, of 203 Brien Ave are each charged with one count of break and enter and one count of robbery. The victim attended at the Sault Area Hospital and was treated for injuries sustained as a result of being assaulted.

On Monday December 27th members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service attended in Sudbury and arrested a 20-year-old female for several warrants. It is alleged that between July 23rd and September 13th 2010, Sacha Daigle, age 20, of 579 Kingsway Blvd, Apt # 3, Sudbury, committed one count of assault police, one count of theft under $ 5,000.00, three counts of fail to appear in court and one count of fail to comply with conditions.

Male arrested for impaired driving:

On Friday December 24th members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 41-year-old male for impaired driving and driving over 80 mgs. It is alleged that at approximately 1:15 am the accused’s vehicle was seen disobeying a stop sign on Rowell Ave. As a result of a police traffic stop it was determined that the accused person’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. Aaron Lucas, age 41 of 7 North Eden St. is charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of drive over 80 mgs. Mr. Lucas is to appear in court on Jan 31st at 9:00 am.

Female arrested for assault and threatening:

On Monday December 27th members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 45-year-old female for assault and threatening. It is alleged that at approximately 12:25 am on December 27th the accused was in a taxicab and was smoking. When she was advised to put the cigarette out she refused and was subsequently asked to get out of the taxi. As she was getting out of the cab the accused is alleged to have punched the victim several times. Upon arrival of police the accused is alleged to have threatened one of the officers. Tammy Biron, age 45, of 59 Cathcart St. is charged with one count of assault and one count of threatening. She is to appear in court on Jan 31st at 9:00 am.

Male arrested for assault:

On Saturday December members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 40-year-old male for assault. It is alleged that at approximately 11:45 pm on December 24th the accused assaulted the victim by punching him several times to the face and head area. The accused and victim are known to one another. The victim did not require medical treatment. Troy Langille, age 40 of 171 Gore St. Apt # 6 is charged with one count of assault and is to appear in court on Jan 31st at 9:00 am.

Property crimes:

Break and enter:

A residence in the 200 b lock of John St was enter – unknown what was taken at this time.
An apartment in the 100 block of Pim St was entered – Christmas gifts were stolen.
An apartment in the 300 block of Albert St. W. was entered – electronics were stolen.
An attempted break and enter was reported on December 28th at approximately 11:30 pm. One person was seen fleeing the area. The suspect is described as: Female, short dark hair, wearing a ball cap and a white jacket.

Theft:

Vehicles were reported entered in the following locations:
The 100 block of Koprash Crt. – electronics were taken.
The 100 block of Black Rd. power tools were stolen.
The 300 block of Bruce St. – personal papers and identification was stolen.
The 400 block of Goulais Ave. – personal papers were stolen.
Mischief:

Vehicles were damaged in the following locations:
The 100 block of Kent Ave. A window was broken.
Two vehicles were damaged in the 200 block of Bay St. Vehicles were keyed.
The 100 block of White Oak Dr. A window was broken
The 300 block of Korah Rd. Tires were slashed.
Christmas decorations were damaged at a residence in the 200 block of Wallace Terr.
Windows were broken at residences in the 500 block of Second Line W. and the 100 block of Wellington St. W.
