Robbery On the 23rd of December a Robbery took place at the Esso Gas Bar at 3 Trunk Road.

On the 23rd of December a Robbery took place at the Esso Gas Bar at 3 Trunk Road. It is alleged that 22-year-old Timothy Gerry Collings of 211 Pine Street entered the business carrying a stick, wearing a bandana over his face and demanded money and cigarettes from the store clerk. The accused then left on foot and was apprehended by police a short time later walking on Elizabeth Street. He has been charged with 1 count of Robbery and 1 count of Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence.

Break and Enter

The 25th of December City Police responded to an alarm at 384 McNabb Street also known as Amici’s Restaurant. Upon arrival Police noticed that the front door was ajar. Once inside Police found two male individuals drinking alcoholic beverages from the business. Both individuals were taken into custody without further incident. Charged with 1 count each of Break and Enter with the Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence are 54-year-old Ken Mitchell of 53 Chapple Street and 55-year-old Evan Mackinson also of 53 Chapple Street. They will be appearing in court on the 30th of January 2006.

Possession of a Stolen Credit Card

24-year-old Darryl Beauchesne of 427 Wellington Street East will be appearing in court today. It is alleged that the accused attended at a residence of persons that were known to him in the 100 Block of St. Andrews Terrace. The accused attended there to use the phone. Once Mr. Beauchesne left the residence the complainant observed that his wife’s purse had been taken. The accused then used a credit card from the purse to purchase cigarettes at Mac’s Mart on Bruce Street and beer at Northern Breweries on Bay Street. The accused Darryl Beauchesne has been charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Stolen Credit Card, 2 counts of Forgery, 1 count of Theft Under $5000 and 1 count of Unlawfully in a Dwelling House.

Ride Program

A 20-year-old male will be appearing in court on the 30th of January. Nelson Henry Williams of 1510 Hwy 17 East Garden River Ontario was stopped during a RIDE check on Gore Street at approximately 2am on the 24th of December. Police could smell the odor of alcohol coming from the accused and he appeared to be having trouble with his motor skills. The accused failed a roadside screening device and was arrested. He has been charged with 1 count of Impaired Driving.


Domestic Disputes

A 49-year-old male will be appearing in court this morning on charges related to a domestic dispute. It is believed that the accused did contact his ex-girlfriend over 30 times, showed up at her residence and place of employment numerous times since December 23rd. The accused has been charged with 1 count of Criminal Harassment.

In a Second Domestic related incident a 21-year-old male will also be appearing in bail court this morning. In this incident it is believed that the accused did assault his girlfriend by grabbing her by the wrists and throwing her to the ground. The accused has been charged with 1 count of Assault and I count of Fail to Comply with Release Document.
