Female Charged with Fraud Yesterday evening 33-year-old Kresta Ouellette of 549 Shannon Road was arrested at Wal-Mart. It is alleged that the accused attended at the store and returned merchandise in the amount of $284.

Yesterday evening 33-year-old Kresta Ouellette of 549 Shannon Road was arrested at Wal-Mart. It is alleged that the accused attended at the store and returned merchandise in the amount of $284.66 that she had not even purchased. City Police were notified and did attend to make the arrest. The accused has been charged with 1 count of Fraud, she will appear in court on the 16 of January 2006.

Youth Charged with Failure to Appear in Court

A 14-year-old youth will be appearing in court today. It is alleged that the youth was to appear in court yesterday but failed to do so. A bench warrant was issued and the accused young person was arrested earlier this morning. The accused has been charged with 1 count of Fail To Appear in court.

Break and Enter Reported

City Police had two reports of break and enter yesterday. Between 3 pm and 8 pm Tuesday evening a home on Shafer Avenue was entered. Thieves made off with a Sony Play station and games. Sometime overnight on Tuesday night a garage on Charles Street was broken into. Thieves made off with a number of tools and alcohol. Reminder about Drinking and Driving

With Christmas coming upon us, and this being a time of the year for celebrations and gatherings. City Police would like to remind the community to drive safely when traveling. Do not drink and drive. And remember to keep your residence and surroundings lit up and locked when away from your home. Unfortunately this can also be a time of year where thieves believe they have more opportunities to commit thefts. Do not become a victim be aware and be safe.
