Arrest
On December 12, 2012 at approximately 5:40 am police were called to the area of McNabb Street and Grove Crescent regarding a female and male arguing. The two combatants were familiar to police. A check of the individuals revealed the male is on court conditions to not communicate with the female, to abide by a curfew and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The accused male age 21 was arrested for breach of a recognizance X 2 and breach of probation. The accused appeared in bail court this morning at 10:00am
Arrest
On December 10, 2012 at approximately 9:05 pm police attended in the area of Goulais Avenue and took a complaint regarding a male that had allegedly been following and watching a young female. Further investigation was completed and a male age 44 was arrested for Criminal Harassment. The accused will appear in bail court on December 13, 2012 at 10:00am.
Break and Enter
Between December 7, 2012 and December 12, 2012 a break and enter occurred in the 500 block of Northland Road. Entry was gained through the kitchen window. Taken was a laptop computer, and 2 wrist watches.
Break and Enter
A break and enter was reported in the 50-100 block of Estelle St at 11:00 p.m.
An elderly resident was woken to the sounds of an intruder in their home.
Intruders entered through the patio door but nothing was taken.
Two sets of footprints were found in the area.
Theft
A theft from a vehicle occurred on The Cresent.
The car was emptied of Christmas presents within minutes of the homeowner returning and leaving the items in their unlocked car.
Vehicles entered
Vehicles were entered at the Knights of Columbus Building at 277 Northern Avenue.
As of this time only a wallet and ID left in an unlocked vehicle have been reported missing.
Vehicles were checked and entered in the Queen St. East, Oak Park Cresent and Louise Drive areas.
Alcohol and cash was reported stolen from a vehicle on Carlbert St.
All vehicles entered appeared to have been left unlocked.
No arrests overnight.
