Two persons to appear in bail court Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 33-year-old male for threatening.
Two persons to appear in bail court
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 33-year-old male for threatening. It is alleged that on Monday August 1st the accused threatened to kill his girlfriend while he was holding an exacto knife. The accused is charged with one count of threatening death. The victim was not injured.

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 30-year-old male on a warrant for failing to appear for court. It is alleged that the accused failed to appear for court on April 10th, 2011. Greg Levesque, age 30 of 4 Turner Ave Apt # 4 is charged with one count of failing to appear for court.

Break and enter
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service received two reports of break and enters yesterday.
A residence in the 500 block of Second Line W. was entered – a lap top was stolen.

A residence in the 300 block of Second Ave was entered- it is unknown at this time what was taken.

Mischief
A window at a business in the 400 block of Pim St. was damaged.

Vehicles were damaged in the following locations:
The 100 block of Herrick St, the 100 block of Old garden River Rd, the 500 block of Wallace Terr.

Theft
Vehicles were entered in the following locations:
The 400 block of Pim St. – unknown what was taken.

The 100 block of Spring St. – a passport was stolen.

The 100 block of Bay St. – an IPod was taken.

The 100 block of Great Northern Rd. – gift certificates, cash and personal papers were stolen.

A quantity of copper wire was stolen from a business in the 100 block of Sackville Rd.
