CAR DAMAGED AT CASINO At 8:05 p.m. yesterday, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Eugino Iuliano and charged him with Mischief and two counts of Breach of Undertaking.
CAR DAMAGED AT CASINO
At 8:05 p.m. yesterday, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Eugino Iuliano and charged him with Mischief and two counts of Breach of Undertaking.

The incidents stem from a mischief that took place on Sunday August 10th at the Sault Ste. Marie Charity Casino. It is alleged that the accused damaged the car belonging to a woman known to him.

The accused, who was on an Undertaking release, breached one of his conditions by attended at the site of the Charity Casino. Eugino Iuliano, age 32, of 1217 Airport Road, will be appearing in Bail Court today at 1:30 PM.


MAN CHOKES WOMAN
At about 9:50 p.m. last night, City Police were called to a north end address in regards to an argument. As a result, a male person was arrested and charged with Assault and Threatening.

It is alleged that the male assault a female, known to him, by choking her and making threats to harm her. The 33-year-old male was released on an Undertaking and will be appearing in court on Sept. 15th to face these charges.


BOTH DRIVERS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
At 11:00 a.m. yesterday, Sherman Bragg, age 46 of Gilles Street, was driving his van west on Henrietta Street approaching Patrick Street.

At this time Shaynee Bartlett, age 34 of Echo Bay, was following Mr. Bragg in her car. When Bragg stopped at Patrick Street to turn left, Ms. Bartlett was unable to stop her car and it struck the back end of his van.

Both drivers, who suffered minor injuries, were taken to the Sault Area Hospital where they were treated and released. This accident is still under investigation.


MOTORCYCLE-CAR COLLISION
The City Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving minor injuries. Yesterday afternoon, at about 1:00 p.m., Fredrick Dicorpo, age 35 of Sutton Place, was driving his motorcycle east on Bruce Street when he was struck by a vehicle turning left in front of him.

Mr. Dicorpo was treated for minor injuries and released from the Sault Area Hospital. The driver of the second vehicle, Denise Lewis-Giroux, age 41 of Searchmont, was not injured. Ms. Lewis-Giroux was charged with Turning not in Safety, under the Highway Traffic Act.

Due to police computer problems, we are unable to report on any other incidents from over night.
