Bail Court Appearance Arrests/Charged Persons with Court Appearance Dates:
Jamessa Michelle Taylor, age 30, of 549 Douglas Street West was arrested on the 25th of April on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of threaten to cause bodily harm and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that between the 26th of January 2012 and the 2nd of February 2012 the accused threatened a male person known to her and at the time she was on probation order with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behavior. The accused will appear in court on May 28, 2012.
Shannon Catherine Edwards, age 40, of #14-549 Cathcart Street was arrested at 5:20 am this morning at the police station and charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, three counts of utter a forged document and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that between the 16th to the 22nd of March the accused forged and cashed three stolen checks at various local businesses. The accused is to appear in court on the 28th of May.
Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes:
- An attempt break and enter was reported to a business in the 600 block of Pine Street.
- An apartment was broken into on the 23rd of April.
- At approximately 3:08 am this morning, police received a call regarding male attempting to break into vehicles in a local business parking lot in the 300 block of Great Northern Road. Officers checked the area with negative results. No description available.
- A residence on Second Avenue was entered on the 23rd of April. An Acer laptop was stolen.
- A vehicle parked at a business on Bruce Street was reported entered. A HP laptop that had been left inside was stolen.
- An adult Trike tricycle was reported stolen from First Avenue.
- Vending machine keys were reported stolen on Wellington Street East.
- A male attempted to kick in the front door of a business in the 600 block of Trunk Road causing damage to a glass plate. A male described as having a bald head fled from the scene prior to police arrival.
