Two Bail Court Arrests:
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22 year-old Candace Miron of 28B Wellington Street East last evening on an outstanding warrant and charged her with one count of fail to appear for prints and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused failed to appear for court on the 23rd of March in relation to a theft charge. She is to appear in bail court this morning.
One adult male will be appearing in bail court this morning in relation to a domestic related incident.
Male Arrested for Assault with a Weapon:
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22 year-old Aaron Wissell of #1-102 Breton Road last night at the police station and charged him with one count of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that the accused was wanted for an incident that occurred earlier in the evening when he allegedly confronted another male in the area of Breton Road and swung a baseball bat at him. No injuries were reported in the incident. The accused is to appear in court on the 14th of May.
Break and Enter/Theft Reports:
- An attempt break and enter was reported to a residence on Gloucester Street.
- A room at a local east end motel was broken into. Medication was reported stolen.
- Vehicles were broken into on Gloucester Street and Fauquier Avenue. Three purses were reported stolen.
