A video posted to social media has led to charges for a Sault man, police say.

The 35-year-old has been accused of threatening to kill or damage the property of anyone who asks him to follow COVID-19 public health guidelines, like wearing a mask.

On Tuesday, police were made aware of the video and located the accused in the 100 block of Chapple Avenue.

As a result, Darryl McMillan has been charged with two counts of uttering threats.

He was held for bail court.
