UPDATE: Vehicle drives into ditch north of city

Sault Police say no charges were laid after a single vehicle drove into a ditch next to Highway 17 between Fifth and Sixth lines Thursday night

8:50 a.m. update:

Sault Police spokesperson Lincoln Louttit told SooToday in an email that the vehicle was "driven into the ditch, no physical injuries, no charges laid."

Sault Police are on the scene of a collision Thursday evening on Highway 17 between Fifth and Sixth line.

One vehicle was in the ditch on the southbound lane but pointed north. The airbags were deployed and at the time SooToday arrived no one was inside.

A tow truck removed the vehicle from the scene shortly after 10 p.m.
