Two charged after vehicle stolen on Trunk Road

On Oct. 11, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit arrested 23-year-old Jacob Boyer of Goulais River and 28-year-old Brandon Hartling of Sherbourne Street for possession of stolen property.

On October 5, 2019 police received a call with regards to a vehicle being stolen from a location on Trunk Road. Officers located the vehicle in the driveway of a residence on Wallace Terrace. The two accused were in the vehicle at the time and were taken into custody. 

Officers conducted a search of the two accused following their arrest and found Mr. Hartling to be in possession of two capsules suspected to be cocaine, two weapons and drug paraphernalia. 

Both of the accused were charged with one count of possession of stolen property. Mr. Hartling is also charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of breach of probation. Both were held for bail court.
