Female to appear in bail court Last night members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 37-year old female on several warrants. It is alleged that Laura Williams, age 37 of 81 Hillside Dr.
Female to appear in bail court
Last night members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 37-year old female on several warrants. It is alleged that Laura Williams, age 37 of 81 Hillside Dr. failed to appear for court on August 30th 2010 and September 13th 2010 and failed to appear for fingerprints on August 31st 2010. She is also alleged to have breached conditions of her probation order release. Ms Williams is charged with two counts of failing to appear for court, one count of failing to appear for the purpose of identification and one count of breach of probation.

Male arrested for break and enter
Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 20-year old male on a charge of break and enter. It is alleged that at approximately 6:30 yesterday morning Terrance Wabegijig, age 20 of 112 Weldon Ave, broke into a residence in the 100 block of Fauquier Ave. Police were called and located the accused inside the residence. Mr.Wabegijig is to appear in court on November 1st at 9:00 am on a charge of break and enter.

Female arrested on a warrant for failing to appear for identification purposes
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested an 18-year old female on a warrant. It is alleged that Shelby Zaldiner, age 18 of 345 St. Georges Ave failed to appear for identification purposes on September 13th 2010. Ms Zaldiner is to appear in court on November1st at 9:00 am on a charge of failing to appear for identification purposes.

Break and enter
A residence was broken into in the 100 block of Carufel Ave- it is unknown what was taken.

Mischief
A fence was damaged in the 300 block of East Balfour Ave.
A car window was damaged in the 100 block of Hugill St.
A car hood was damaged in the 300 block of McNabb St.

Theft
A wallet was taken from a vehicle in the 100 block of Ashgrove Ave.
A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at the rear of the 600 block of Queen St. E.
A bicycle was reported stolen from the 100 block of Montgomery Ave.
Election signs were reported stolen from Wallace Terr. and Allen’s Side Rd.

The Sault Ste Marie Police Service would like to remind the public that the theft of or damage of an election sign is a criminal offence. The Sault Ste Marie Police Service has received several complaints of election signs being stolen and damaged. Persons caught damaging or steal these signs will be charged with a criminal offence.
