The following persons are to appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 27 year-old female was arrested on the 22nd of September at 9:45 at the city police station after turning herself in and charged with one count of assault with a weapon.
The following persons are to appear in bail court this morning:

1) A 27 year-old female was arrested on the 22nd of September at 9:45 at the city police station after turning herself in and charged with one count of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that on the 22nd of September at around 2:30 am the accused got into a dispute with her step-father at which time she struck him in the head and bit him in the arm. The victim had to attend at the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

2) A 43 year-old male was arrested on the 23rd of September at 3:32 am at a west end residence and charged with one count of trespassing at night and seven count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 23rd of September around 3:15 am the accused attended at his ex-girlfriend’s residence while in an intoxicated condition and started to bang on the doors and several windows at the home and yelling for her to talk to him. Police were called and arrested the accused just outside the residence. Officers learned that the accused was on two probation orders with conditions that he not communicate, molest, harass, or physically interfere with his ex-girlfriend, not to consume any alcohol, to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and not to attend at her residence.

3) A 20 year-old female was arrested at Canada Customs on Huron Street and charged with one count of breach of a release order. It is alleged that the accused was in a vehicle that attempted to cross the border and was stopped and checked at U.S. Customs. When Custom officers ran a check on the female and male inside the vehicle it came back that she was on a bail recognizance not to associate or communicate with the male as a result of a domestic related assault incident from earlier in the month. The two were sent back to Canada Customs and City police were notified.

4) 38 year-old Kevin Pine of 1685 Shingwauk Street in Garden River was arrested on the 22nd of September at 11 pm on Bay Street and charged with one count of breach of a release order and one count of intoxicated in a public place. It is alleged that on the 22nd of September around 10:40 pm city police were dispatched to the downtown area for the complaint of an intoxicated male. Officers located the accused on Bay Street near East Street. He was found to be in an intoxicated condition and when officers ran a check on him they discovered that he was on an undertaking not to be out of his residence in an intoxicated state.

Vehicles were entered in the 100 block of Parkland Crescent, Nicholas Avenue, and the 300 block of Wilson Street. CD’s clothing, tools, a GPS, some change and a pack sac were some of the items reported stolen from the vehicles.

Mischief Report:

A residence on Jean Avenue was egged last night around 7 pm.

Break and Enters:

A residence garage on West Braemar Bay was entered over the past weekend. Tools, a generator and sound equipment were reported stolen.

A window was smashed at Gino’s Restaurant last evening around 2:19 am. Officers checked the area but could not locate anyone.
