Mail Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 32 year-old Aaron Wilson of #1-315 John Street yesterday afternoon on an outstanding warrant and charged him with one count of unlawfully at large and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 24th of July the accused failed to attend the Algoma Remand and Treatment Centre at 8 am for his intermittent sentence. At the time the accused was on a probation order with conditions that he report to the Centre at 8:00 am each Sunday and remain there until the following Monday at 8:00 am. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

Male Shoplifter Arrested

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 34 year-old Roger Vinneau of 5 Forrest Crescent Pioneer Trailer Park, Heyden Ont. on the 19th of September at 2:57 pm at Wal-Mart and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 19th of September the accused attended at Wal-Mart and stole a movie. The accused was apprehended by security and held for police. The accused is to appear in court on the 24th of October.

Break and Enter Report

A garage on Young Street was entered overnight from the 18th -19th of September. Cigarettes, red peppers and potatoes were reported taken.

Mischief

A driveway on Laura Street was spray painted.
