The following four persons are to appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 22 year-old male was arrested on the 27th of October at 6:20 pm at the city police station on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of assault in relation to a dome
The following four persons are to appear in bail court this morning:

1) A 22 year-old male was arrested on the 27th of October at 6:20 pm at the city police station on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of assault in relation to a domestic related incident on the 26th of October. It is alleged that on that date the accused attended at his ex-girlfriend’s residence around 5 am her and assaulted her by pushing her.


2) A 22 year-old was male was arrested on the 27th of October at 5:41 pm on Second Line West and charged with two counts of breach of probation, one count of theft under $5,000.00 and one count of intoxicated in a public place. It is alleged that just before 5 pm city police were called to the area of the Market Mall parking lot on Second Line West for a possible domestic dispute. When officers arrived, the male party had just left and the female party, still in the area, advised that her and her ex-boyfriend had just had a verbal argument. When officers were still in the area they received a call from Rick’s Outlet in the Market Mall that the accused had just stolen some food items and left towards the north parking lot. Officers observed the accused walking through the north lot and when they confronted him, they found him to be in an intoxicated state and in possession of the stolen items. A check on the accused revealed that he was on probation with conditions not to consume any alcohol and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.


3) On the 27th of October around 9:17 pm city police received a call regarding two suspicious males wearing dark hoodies that had just ran from and abandoned a red car in the parking lot of Mac’s Mart on Second Line West and People’s Road. Officers attended in the area and when the vehicle was checked they discovered that the ignition had been damaged and appeared to be punched out. A check of the plates revealed that the vehicle, a 1999 Dodge Neon, had been reported stolen from the Kitchener Waterloo area. Police located the two males matching the description walking southbound on Wellington Street West near Henrietta Street and they were both arrested and charged with the following:

29 year-old Paul Fitzgerald of #2-55 Irving Street in Kitchener Ontario has been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of probation – at the time of the incident he was on probation conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

24 year-old Jeremy Dandford of 63 Charles Street in Kitchener Ontario was charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of breach of a release document and four counts of breach of probation. He was on release conditions not to consume any alcohol and was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time. He was also on conditions not to associate with the co-accused, and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Driving While Disqualified

41 year-old Sean McLarty of 80 Sharon Crescent was arrested on the 28th of October just before 2 am on Queen Street East and charged with four counts of operate motor vehicle while disqualified by a court order, one count of breach of probation and under the Highway Traffic Act, he was charged with one count of speeding, one count of fail to stop for red light and one count of drive while under suspension. It is alleged that around 1:44 am city police observed a black Ford truck travelling at a high rate of speed on Bay Street. The truck also failed to stop for the red light at the Spring Street intersection. Officers were able to stop the vehicle on Queen Street East near Churchill Boulevard. The accused driver was checked and it revealed he was disqualified criminally and provincially from driving. At the time he was also on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He is to appear in court on the 1st of December.

Break and Enter Reports:

- A residence on Hugill Street was entered sometime between the 24th and the 27th of October. Jewellery and a stereo were reported stolen.
- Bawating High School was entered sometime over the past weekend. A filing cabinet was broken into – it is not known at this what was taken.

Theft Reports:

- A shed was entered on Willoughby Street on the 27th of October.
- A parcel was stolen out of a mailbox on Old Garden River Road ,
- Railway and track materials were stolen from the Huron Central Properties on Carpin Beach Road
- A Soo Van and Storage moving van was entered in the area of Pine Street – a Surround Sound speaker was reported stolen.

Vehicles were entered in the following area:

Laronde Avenue, 500 block of Macdonald Avenue, Sisson Street, Ravina Street, Wellington Street East, Lake Street and Robin Street. Some of the items reported stolen were - two way radios, an iPod, GPS, a wallet and change.
