OBSTRUCTING POLICE On Monday, the 20th of October at 8:10 am the accused, Clifford Ladouceur, age 37 of 41 Old Garden River Road #103 was stopped by police officers for a Highway Traffic Act violation.

On Monday, the 20th of October at 8:10 am the accused, Clifford Ladouceur, age 37 of 41 Old Garden River Road #103 was stopped by police officers for a Highway Traffic Act violation.

When being investigated as the driver, the accused identified himself with a false name. A further investigation revealed the real name of the accused and he was subsequently charged with Obstruct Police. He will appear in court on December 22nd.

YOUTH BREACHES PROBATION
Over the weekend, the accused, a 15-year-old young person breached their probation order by failing to comply with their curfew. As a result, last night the accused was charged with three counts of breach of probation. The accused will appear in court in late December.

ANOTHER YOUTH ARREST
Last night,the accused, a 17 year old young person was located by City police officers at a home on Wellington Street East. The accused had numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest held by city police.

Officers arrested and charged the youth on the strength of these warrants with two counts of Breach of Probation, two counts of Failing to Appear in Court and Assault. The accused will appear in bail court today.

FINALLY PICKED UP
In the early summer of 2003 a 23-year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie assaulted his then girlfriend by pushing her into a wall. The male also threatened to kill her.

The accused was on probation with a condition to not molest, harass or physically interfere with the victim. Police officers charged him with Assault, Threatening and Breach of Probation. During the summer, while on probation not to communicate with the victim, sent several letters to the victim, thereby breaching his probation order. He also failed to appear for fingerprinting.

This morning, at 3:54 am, patrol officers arrested and charged the accused with Breach of Probation, Threatening and Assault. He will appear in bail court today.

TWO BREAK INS YESTERDAY
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated two break ins yesterday. At 9:01 am patrol officers were called to Boomers Night Club in the East Gate Hotel at 874 Queen Street East for a break in. And at 3:38 pm Patrol Officers were called to a home on Highland Court where a break in had occurred earlier in the month. Both crimes are currently under investigation.
