The police service received 10 calls regarding thefts from motor vehicles overnight. The vehicles targeted were all located in the city’s east end.

The police service received 10 calls regarding thefts from motor vehicles overnight. The vehicles targeted were all located in the city’s east end. Items removed from the vehicles included wallets, passports, a red tackle box, electrical engineering text books, Addidas sunglasses, I-pods, digital camera and loose change.

A motor vehicle was also stolen overnight from the east end of the city. Taken was a 2002 Ford Explorer, grey in colour with Ontario plate BAJS 580.

City Police were kept busy overnight responding to a number of calls ranging from motor vehicle collisions, reports of missing persons, mental health related issues, minor thefts and domestic disputes. There were no arrests to report nor any injuries related to the collisions.
