Property Crimes: Break and Enter/Theft Reports: A residence on Macdonald Avenue was entered last evening. A Mac Laptop and a Play Station PS3 were reported stolen.

A residence on Macdonald Avenue was entered last evening. A Mac Laptop and a Play Station PS3 were reported stolen.
A 2004 Arctic Cat Snow Pro 700 snow machine, green in colour, was stolen from the back yard of a residence on Broadview Drive over the past weekend.
Vehicle licence plates were stolen on Golf Range Crescent.

Mischief Reports:

Graffiti vandalism was reported to an east end elementary school. Vandalism occurred over the past weekend.
Tires were reported slashed on a vehicle on Dundas Street.
A gravestone was reported vandalized at the Greenwood Cemetery.
A vehicle on Plaintree was reported scratched.
A residence on Greenview Lane was egged.

Three Persons Arrested on Outstanding Warrants:

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 42 year-old David Powley of 43 Copernicus Drive on the 7th of November on an outstanding warrant on an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of fail to It is alleged that the accused failed to appear court on 22nd of February 2010 in relation to a probation and parole charge.  He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 33 year-old Berni Nadon of 289 Kingsford Road on the 7th of November on an outstanding warrant and charged her with one count of fail to appear for identification. It is alleged that on the 24th of October the accused failed to appear for prints in relation to resist arrest and cause disturbance charge. She is to appear in bail court this morning.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 49 year-old John Bissiallon of 34 Dauphin Drive on the 7th of November on an outstanding warrant and charged him with one count of fail to appear for identification. It is alleged that on the 21st of April the accused failed to appear for prints in relation to an impaired driving related charge. He is to appear court on the 12th of December.

Never leave receipts at bank machines, bank wickets, in garbage cans or at unattended gasoline pumps. Shred paperwork you no longer need
Immediately report lost or stolen credit cards
Carefully check your statements for unusual activity
Never loan your credit cards to anyone and sign all credit cards when you receive them
Cancel credit cards you do not use and keep a list of the ones you use regularly
Promptly remove mail from your mailbox and do no leave pieces of mail lying around your residence or work site
Do not give out personal banking information
Memorize your personal identification number (PIN)
Never disclose your PIN number to anyone
Do not use obvious numbers for your PIN
Never leave your purse or wallet unattended
