Domestic Related Arrest for Bail Court Appearance: A 37 year-old male was arrested on the 24th of November at 12:18 am at his residence and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000.00.
Domestic Related Arrest for Bail Court Appearance:

A 37 year-old male was arrested on the 24th of November at 12:18 am at his residence and charged with one count of mischief under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 24th of November at approximately 12:05 am the accused got into a verbal argument with his common law partner at their residence and then caused a significant amount of damage inside the residence. Further, the accused damaged his partner’s vehicle.

Impaired Driver Arrested:

35 year-old Kimberley Rickard of 73 Creek Road was arrested on the 23rd of November just after 9 pm on Bonney Street and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. At approximately 8:56 pm city police received a call from a witness regarding a hit and run collision involving a possible impaired driver that had just occurred in the 100 block of Goulais Avenue. It is alleged that the accused was operating a 2003 Honda Civic southbound on Goulais Avenue when her vehicle struck an unattended GMC Pickup that was parked in front of a residence on Goulais Avenue. The accused drove away from the scene but was followed by the witness, who then called police. Officers found the accused under the influence of alcohol. No injuries were reported and the vehicles were moderately damaged. The accused is to appear in court on the 4th of January, 2010.

Two Shoplifting Arrests:

1) 61 year-old Paul Mastros of 128 Mountain Street in Sudbury was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 yesterday at 4:03 pm after he allegedly attended at Rome’s Independent Grocers yesterday afternoon and stole a couple bottles of pop. He is to appear in court on the 21st of December.

2) 40 year-old Bryan Pennett of #2-361 Wellington Street East was charged on the 23rd of November at 2:18 pm at the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that around 2:11 pm yesterday afternoon the accused attended at the IDA Drug Store in the Mall and stole a bottle of Visine. He was apprehended by store security just outside the Mall and held for police. He is to appear in court on the 21st of December.

Property Crimes:

Theft Reports:


• A 2005 Honda ATV red Four Wheeler and the licence plate was stolen off a trailer on residence property in the 600 block of Connaught Ave back on the 13th of November.
• A digital Fuji Digital camera and Ruin Stones were reported stolen from the Westminister Presbyterian Church on Brock Street.
• A wallet was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Albert Street East.
• Decorations were reported stolen from a front yard of a residence in the 100 block of Boundary Road.
• Cassette tapes were taken from a vehicle on Eastern Avenue.

Mischief Reports:

• A rear vehicle window was smashed in the 100 block of Breton Road.
• Christmas decorations were damaged in a residence yard on South Market Street.
• Eggs were reported thrown at a residence on Field Square.
