TWO CHARGED WITH ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM Detectives arrested a 25-year-old male yesterday afternoon and have charged him with assault causing bodily harm.

Detectives arrested a 25-year-old male yesterday afternoon and have charged him with assault causing bodily harm. A 4-year-old boy was allegedly struck three times in the face and required medical attention for his injuries. A court date has been set for Jan 7.

A 16-year-old male was arrested yesterday morning and has been charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm in connection with an incident on November 16. It is alleged he punched another 16-year-old in the face. The victim required medical attention for a broken nose. A court date has been set for Dec 18.

FIRST SNOWFALL
Local drivers reacted well to the first snowfall yesterday. The traffic division reports that there did not appear to be a higher than average amount of accidents. Only two of those investigated seemed to be weather related. Motorists are reminded to slow down. Most early winter accidents result because drivers are going too quickly for road conditions.
