Three Domestic Related Arrests Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 39 year-old male at 12:05 am this morning at his residence and charged him with one count of threaten to damage property and two counts of assault.

Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 39 year-old male at 12:05 am this morning at his residence and charged him with one count of threaten to damage property and two counts of assault. It is alleged that the accused assaulted his estranged wife on two occasions, once in December 2009 and once on the 11th of October 2010. Further, on the 10th of October, the accused, allegedly threatened to burn down the family home.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 26 year-old male at 4:26 am this morning at a west end residence and charged him with two counts of breach of probation and one count of obstruct peace officer. It is alleged that officers received a domestic dispute call at a west end residence at approximately 4:09 am and when they arrived they found the accused inside the residence of a female that he is on probation conditions not to communicate with or to be at her home due to past domestic related incidents. When officers were first dealing with the accused he falsely identified himself.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 47 year-old female at the police station at 4:45 pm yesterday and charged her with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 1st of November around 12:15 pm the accused attended at the residence of her ex-common law husband, got into a verbal argument with him and assaulted him. The victim received minor injuries as a result.

Disturbance at Local Bar
Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 27 year-old Luc Dale of no fixed address on the 1st of November at 12:25 am at a west end bar and charged him with two counts of breach of probation, one count of intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor Licence Act and one count of fail to leave premises when directed under the Trespass to Property Act. It is alleged that at 12:20 am on the 1st of November officers received a call regarding the accused causing problems at a local bar and attempting to fight with bar staff. The accused was in an intoxicated state at the time and failed to leave when he was directed by staff and by police when they arrived to assist. When officers ran a check on the accused they discovered he was on probation with curfew conditions to be in his place of residence and to keep the peace and be good. He is to attend in court on the 6th of December.

Break and Enter and Theft Reports
• A residence in the 4000 block of Queen Street East was entered yesterday between 11:30 am and 2 pm. A 32 inch Sharp flat screen television, an HP Laptop, and a Canon power shot digital camera were reported stolen.
• A residence in the 100 block of Tilley Road was entered between 6:30 am and 12:30 pm yesterday. Jewellery and cash were reported taken.
• A vehicle parked in the rear of a business in the 200 block of Queen Street East was broken into. A window was smashed and a purse that had been left inside was taken.
• A licence plate was taken off a vehicle on Queen Street East.

Mischief Reports
• A vehicle on Pine Street was scratched and dented.
• A limousine parked at a local hotel on Great Northern Road was keyed and the licence plates were stolen.
• A vehicle parked in a residence driveway in the 500 block of Northland Road was scratched, dented and had the passenger side mirror smashed sometime overnight on the 1st of November.
• Planters and a wooden glider rocker were vandalized on Pageant Drive.
