People to appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 16-year old youth was arrested last evening and charged with four counts of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and one count of mischief under $5,000.
People to appear in bail court this morning:

1) A 16-year old youth was arrested last evening and charged with four counts of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that the youth threw a bottle against a wall in his home which resulted in a hole in the drywall. At the time of the offence the accused was also on probation with a number of conditions.

2) A 16-year old female was arrested and charged on the 13th of November with one count of theft under $5,000 and five counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that the youth stole a purse from another female. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation with a number of conditions including the term to keep the peace and be good.

3) 43-year old Michael Casey of 1A-181 Elgin Street was arrested on the 11th of November and charged with one count of breach of probation, three counts of threatening to cause death or bodily harm and one count of breach of a release order. It is alleged that the accused attended at the LCBO Store in the Station Mall and when refused service he became upset. When security officers arrived it is alleged that he threatened to assault the staff member from the LCBO Store and also threatened to shoot the security officers. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation with terms to keep the peace and be good. Officers also learned that on the 5th of November the accused had been at a local convenience store while on a release order to stay away from the store.

4) 44-year old Paul Archambeault of no fixed address was arrested on the 11th of November and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that the accused attended at Romes on Great Northern Road and stole a cigarette rolling machine as well as some food and left the store without paying for the merchandise. The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to City Police.

5) 29-year old William Ottis of Wallaceburg, Ontario was arrested on the 12th of November and charged with one count of uttering a forged document, one count of forgery and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused changed the quantity number on a prescription for percocet. The pharmacist noticed that there was something wrong and confirmed the correct number with the issuing physician. Police were called and the accused was arrested. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation with terms to keep the peace and be good.

People arrested for drinking and driving related offences:

23-year old Sara Bolduc of 434 McNabb Street was arrested on the 12th of November just after 2 am and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that the accused was stopped at a red light at McNabb Street and Pentagon. Officers observed the accused talking on a call phone and noted that the driver door was wide open. When officers spoke to the accused it is alleged that the odour of alcohol was apparent and that she showed signs of impairment. The accused will appear in court on December 11th.

54-year old Joan Biron of 233 Selby Road was arrested on the 12th of November just after 2:30 pm and charged with one count of consume over the legal limit. Officers stopped the accused after receiving a call about a possible impaired driver. When officers stopped the accused on Second Line East it is alleged that the odour of alcohol was apparent and that the driver showed other signs of impairment. The accused will appear in court on December 18th.

Break & Enter, Possession of Stolen Property, Breach,and Mischief & Theft Under $5000

An 18-year old male was arrested on the 13th of November and charged with two counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of breach of probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), one count of mischief under $5,000 and one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that on July 7th of this year around 3:30 am in the morning the accused broke into a vehicle parked on Lorraine Street and also broke into the garage and stole a hockey stick. It is further alleged that the accused broke into a vehicle parked on Irwin Avenue on the same date and broke into the garage as well. It is alleged that the accused stole a firefighters bunker jacket. At the time of the offence the accused was on an YCJA probation order with conditions to keep the peace and be good as well as a curfew order from 11 pm to 7 am. A warrant had been issued for the accused and was subsequently executed on the 13th. Due to the YCJA charge the name of the male cannot be released. The accused will appear in court on December 18th.

City Police received a number of break and enter reports over the last few days:

1) On the 11th of November between 2 pm and 6:30 pm a home on Chambers Avenue was entered. Thieves stole an X-box and games as well as some jewellery.

2) Sometime between 12 noon and midnight on the 12th of November thieves broke into a home on Grandville Crescent and stole electronic equipment including a stereo.

3) A home in the 100 block of Albert Street West was entered on the 12th of November and three cartons of cigarettes were taken.

4) Sometime between 9 pm on the 11th of November and 1 am on the 12th of November thieves broke into a residence in the 400 block of Wellington Street East and stole a small undisclosed amount of money.

5) Just before 6 am on November 12th a window for Liquidation World on Trunk Road was broken but it is unknown at this time of entry was gained.

6) On the 12th of November just before 7 am City Police attended on Trunk Road for further broken windows. Windows were broken at Microtech, Sex in the City and Promo Pizza. It is unknown at this time if entry was gained.

7) Between 3:30 pm on the 11th of November and 7 am on the 12th of November a residence in the 600 block of Pine Street was entered. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the residence.

8) A home on Willow Avenue was entered over night on the 11th and 12th while the owners were sleeping. The thief only ate the left over Chinese food in the fridge.

9) Thieves attempted to break into a residence on Letcher Street overnight on the 11th and 12th of November.

10) Sometime between 2 pm and 7 pm on the 12th of November thieves broke into a residence in the 500 block of John Street and stole a Sony Playstation, tapes and a packsack.

11) A home on Central Park was entered between 8 pm on the 12th of November and 3:30 am on the 13th of November was entered and nothing was taken.

12) Sometime between the 10th of November and the 13th of November H.D. Equipment on Dacey Road was entered but nothing appears to have been taken.

13) Sometime between the 12th of November and 4 pm and 9 am on the 13th of November the Conservation Authority Office on Fifth Line East was broken into. A black welding helmet was taken.

14) Between 2 pm on the 13th of November and 12:30 am on the 14th of November a home in the 700 block of Wellington Street East was entered and a 32-foot ladder, a laptop and a box of tools was taken.
