Probation Breach On November 13, 2012 at approximately 10:30 pm Patrol Officers arrested Tina Waboose, age 23, and charged her with one count of Breach of Probation.

Probation Breach

On November 13, 2012 at approximately 10:30 pm Patrol Officers arrested Tina Waboose, age 23, and charged her with one count of Breach of Probation. Waboose was on conditions not to be in the downtown area in the Gore/Albert/Denis Streets area and officers located her there. She will appear in court on Dec 17th.

Impaired Charge

On Novenber 13, 2012 at approximately 4:50 pm Police Officers arrested and charged Bela Farkas, age 64 of Sault Ste. Marie with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08. Traffic Services Officers had been called to a single motor vehicle collision on Gore St. at Queen St. East where a vehicle being operated by Farkas had struck a pole. No injuries and minor damge was reported in the collision. He will now appear in court on December 17th, 2012.

Probation breach

On November 13th, 2012 at 7:25 pm Patrol Officers arrested a 39 year old male in a domestic related incident. Officers learned that the accused was on a Probation Order with conditions not to communicate with his ex-girlfriend. The male had breached his probation order several times and was subsequently charged with five counts of Breach of Probation. He will appear in bail court on November 14th.

Arrest

On the 13th of November 2012 at 8:40am a 15 year old youth was located at a residence and arrested for outstanding warrants for breaching conditions and failing to attend court.

Arrest

At shortly after 9:00am police were called to the Beer Store on Bruce Street for a male throwing rocks at the windows.  25 year old Tyler McMillan (aka Ross) of 110 Grosvenor Ave was located and arrested for breaching his Probation condition to not attend that location.

Domestic Assault

At 10:30am police arrested a 34 year old male for domestic related assault.  All three accused will appear in Bail Court on the 14th of November 2012.

Arrest

At 2:00pm members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Street Team located and arrested 27 year old Roland Periard of 20 Grosvenor Ave. on an outstanding warrant for theft of a laptop computer from St. Mary’s College that occurred on the 7th of November 2012.

Break and Enter

A break and enter was reported to have occurred overnight in the 100 block of Forest Avenue.  A kitchen door was forced open however nothing appeared to have been taken.

Vehicles entered

An unlocked vehicle was entered over night in the 200 block of Promenade Drive.  The vehicle was gone through however nothing taken. 

A vehicle was entered over night in the 100 block of The Drive.  An Ipod and a TomTom Gps along with some DVD’s were stolen.

A vehicle was entered in the 100 block of Pim Street today; a brink was thrown through the window.  Stolen was a wallet.

Update: Collision at Wellington East and Kohler Street

Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service on continuing their investigation into a Motor Vehicle Collision that occurred shortly after midnight on November 11, 2012 at the intersection of Wellington Street East and Kohler Street.  During the collision, a silver Dodge Nitro collided with a Black Chevy pickup truck.  As a result of the collision, a number of people, who were all passengers in the involved vehicles, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital. 

At this point the investigation is being conducted by the Traffic Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service with the assistance of officers from the Criminal Investigations Division.  The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in this investigation.

Arrest:

At just before midnight on November 12th a 29 year old male turned himself in at the Police Services Building for outstanding arrest warrants. The male was wanted on charges of Assault and Threatening in a domestic related incident. He will appear in bail court on November 13, 2012.

Break and enter:

On November 12th at approximately 9:30 pm Police Officers investigated a break and enter complaint from a resident of a home in the 200 block of Pim St. The victim reported that a large flat screen TV, several Mac Computers and a Focus Izalco Pro road bicycle were stolen.
