Threatening with a Knife

45 year-old Kelly Labelle (female) was arrested at her downtown apartment residence around 7:40 pm last night and charged with two counts of threatening death or bodily harm and one count of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. It is alleged that on the 7th of May just before 9 pm the accused attended at another female tenant’s apartment and made threats towards her and her children while waving a knife. It is further alleged that on the 6th of May the accused threatened to stab another male tenant. The accused and victims are all known to each other. The accused will be appearing in bail court this morning.

Assault & Mischief under $5,000

A 31 year-old female was arrested last night around 11:30 pm at a downtown residence and charged with one count of assault and two counts of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 7th of May at approximately 10:45 pm the accused attended at her ex-boyfriend’s residence, kicked in the door and assaulted him. When the accused was leaving she threw a beer bottle at a vehicle parked in the driveway, breaking a window. The accused is to appear in court on the 13th of June.

Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend

A 27 year-old male was arrested just after 9 pm last night at the City Police station and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 4th of May the accused attended at his ex-girlfriend’s placed of employment and assaulted her by pushing her several times. He is to appear in court on the 11th of June.

Possession of Stolen Plates

19 year-old Jacob Gilbert of #53-1001 Second Line West was arrested last night just after 7:30 pm and charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that officers on routine patrol observed the vehicle westbound on St. Andrew’s Terrace travelling in the wrong lane. The vehicle was stopped at Boydell and Northland Road. When officers ran a check on the plates they discovered that the plates had been reported stolen. The accused will appear in court on the 11th of June.

Car Accident

City police were called to a motor vehicle collision on Peoples Road at 4:45 pm yesterday that sent both drivers to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. A northbound KIA spectra operated by a 23 year-old male attempted to turn left into the Nucomm Marketing parking lot and was struck by a southbound ford tempo operated by a 40 year-old female. Both vehicle sustained moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the KIA spectra, Vincent Nolan of 185A Jardin Mine Road was charged with one count of turn not in safety under The Highway Traffic Act.

Break & Enter's

There was one break and enter reported yesterday. A residence on Campbell Avenue was entered some time between the 2nd of May and the 7th. There was nothing reported stole.
