Bail Court 1) A 14 year old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of breaching his probation order.

1) A 14 year old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of breaching his probation order. It is alleged the accused wrapped a plastic cord around the neck of the 14 year old male victim’s neck and forcing him to the ground in pain. The victim did not require medical treatment. This incident is said to have occurred on the 10 May 2009 at 8:30 pm.

2) A 19 year old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with assault. It is alleged this accused along with two 17 year old males assaulted a 23 year old male in the parking lot of 99 Foster Drive on the 11 May 2009 at approx. 9:30 pm. It is alleged this accused and one of the 17 year old accused punched the victim in the head numerous times. The other 17 year old male accused is alleged to have punched the victim as well as striking the victim in the back of the head several times with a skate board causing a cut to the victims head. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of non life threatening injuries. One of the 17 year old males will appear in court this morning charged with assault and assault with a weapon. The other 17 year old was charged with assault and will appear in court on the 16th June 2009.

3) A 27 year old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with 2 counts of assault. It is alleged the accused assaulted his common-law girlfriend on the 10 May 2009 by punching her. It is further alleged the accused punched the victim between, the 1st Dec. 2008 and the 10 May 2009.

4) On the 11 May 2009 at approx.09:52 am, EMS was dispatched to a call on Northern Ave. with regards to a female slumped over in the drivers compartment of a 2008 Chevrolet. It was determined the female was not in a medical emergency and police were notified. As a result Jennifer Jane Trepasso aged 36 of 345 North St. was charged with, consume over the legal limit and will appear in court on the 22 June 2009.

Robbery

City Police were called to the Mac’s Convenience Store located at Gore and Wellington this morning at approx. 03:27 am after a male robbed the clerk. A lone male entered the store and approached the clerk and stated he would hurt him and then reached into the till and grabbed some money and then fled. The male is described being a white male between 19 and 24 years of age, wearing a black hoodie and red ball cap, 5”5”, thin build.
The accused fled running towards Manilla Terrace. The suspect escaped with a very small amount of cash.
