Male Youth Arrested for Breaching Release Conditions

A 17 year-old male youth was arrested this morning at 3:12 am on Pine Street and charged with two counts of breach of a release order. It is alleged that around 3:05 am this morning city police received a call about two suspicious males checking vehicles in the Queen Street East and Pine Street Area. Upon arrival, police observed a male running from the parking lot area of St. Bernard’s Tower. The male was quickly apprehended and at that time he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. When officers ran a check on the youth they discovered that he was on an undertaking release order with conditions not to consume any alcohol and curfew conditions to be in his residence from 10 pm to 7 am. The youth was arrested and taken into custody. Officers searched the area for the second male but could not locate him. The accused is to attend in bail court this morning.

Third Male Arrested for 24th of April Aggravated Assault Incident Outside Local Bar

29 year-old Trevor Hunter of 50 Francis Street was arrested on the 25th of April at 1:00 am on Huron Street and charged with one count of aggravated assault. It is alleged that on the 24th of April just after 2 am the accused assaulted a male while outside a local downtown bar. The 33 year-old male victim received non-life threatening injuries that required medical treatment. The accused is to appear in court on the 31st of May.
After further investigation, a second male was arrested and charged last evening at the police station in relation to this aggravated assault incident that took place on the 24th of April just after 2 am outside a local downtown bar. The second male, charged with one count of aggravated assault, is 26 year-old Jayson Onofrio of 555 Fourth Line East. It is alleged that a 33 year-old male was assaulted by the accused, the co-accused, Trevor Hunter, and a third male in the parking lot area after leaving the bar. The victim had to be transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment of serious, non-life threatening injures. This accused is to appear in court on the 7th of June. Officers have arrested and charged the third male allegedly responsible for this aggravated assault incident. The third male, 18 year-old Joshua Onofrio of 947 Main Street East in Hamilton Ontario turned himself in at the city police station at 6:55 pm last night. He has been also charged with one count of aggravated assault and will be appearing in court on the 14th of June.

Female Arrested for Assault

47 year-old Agnes Trowbridge of #324-138 East Street was arrested on the 10th of May at 9:35 pm at her residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 10th of May the accused attended at the residence of a female known to her and assaulted her.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Assault Warrant

A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on an outstanding warrant yesterday afternoon at 3:10 pm. He has been charged with one count of assault for an incident that took place on the 9th of May when he assaulted a person known to him at an east end residence. He is to appear in court on the 15th of June.
