Bail Court

1) A 49 year old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with assault and threatening death. It is alleged that on the 30th March 2009 the accused threatened to kill his common law wife and then assaulted her by pushing and then punching her. The victim did not require medical treatment.

2) On the 30th March 2009 police investigated a domestic complaint that resulted in a 28 year old female being charged with assault and breaching her probation order. It is alleged that the accused and the victim were discussing the end of their relationship when an argument erupted. At this point the accused slapped the victim across the face and then push food into the face of the victim. The victim did not require medical treatment. The accused will be in bail court this morning.
