Two Youths Charged with Numerous Offences Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested two male youths, ages 16 and 17, last night in relation to assault incidents that took place on the 6th of June.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested two male youths, ages 16 and 17, last night in relation to assault incidents that took place on the 6th of June. It is alleged that at approximately 2:45 pm on the 6th of June the two attacked a male youth known to them while at the Sault Transit Bus Terminal. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result.

When officers arrested the 16 year-old male they found him to be in possession of 26.2 grams of hash and at the time he was on a probation order with conditions that he not be in possession of any non-prescription drugs and was also to keep the peace and be good. The 17 year-old male was also involved in another incident that occurred around 8:20 pm last night when he allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill two males known to him in the downtown area. This youth was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time and was found to be on release documents with conditions that he not consume any alcohol.

As a result the 16 year-old male was charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug or Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and two counts of Breach of Probation. The 17 year-old was charged with one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm, two counts of Assault, two counts of Threaten Death and one count of Breach of a Release Document.

Domestic Related Arrest
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 52 year-old male at 8:25 pm last night and charged him with two counts of Breach of a release Document and two counts of Breach of Probation. It is alleged that on the 6th of June at approximately 8:10 pm officers received a call regarding a domestic disturbance at a downtown residence. When officers arrived they found the accused to be intoxicated and consuming alcohol.

At the time of the incident the accused was on undertaking and probation conditions that he not consume any alcohol, that he not attend at the residence of the female due to previous domestic related incidents and he was also to keep the peace and be good.

Male Shoplifter Arrested
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 58 year-old Ronald Sharpe of 64 Glenwood Avenue on the 6th of June at 5:40 pm and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 6th of June at 4:34 pm the accused attended at Zellers in the Station Mall and stole two air conditioners. He is to appear in court on the 11th of July.

Break and Enter and Theft Reports
• A residence on Letcher Street was entered on the 6th of June. An Acer laptop and an Xbox 360 were reported stolen.
• Aluminum was reported stolen from a property on Anna Street.
• A motorcycle licence plate was stolen on Macdonald Avenue.
• Two bicycles were reported stolen. One Hyper BMX from Northern Avenue and one Bianchi 21 speed stolen out of a vehicle on Central Creek Road.

Mischief Report
A vehicle on McQueen Road was spray painted and gone through.
