Female Charged with Assault

A 21 year-old female was arrested at her central area residence on the 11th of June just after 11 pm and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 11th of June at approximately 11:12 pm the accused assaulted her common- law husband at their residence by punching him in the face. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

Assault & Threatening Death

44 year-old Kevin Swift of #1-196 South Market Street was arrested on the 11th of June around 10:25 am at the corner of Elgin Street at King Street and charged with one count of assault and one count of threaten death or bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 11th of June around 9:25 am the accused assaulted a male known to him by grabbing him around the throat and forcing him to the ground. It is alleged that the two got into an argument over some owed money. It is further alleged that the accused also threatened to kill the victim. The victim received non-life threatening injuries. The accused is to appear in court on the 23rd of July.

Charged with Two Counts of Breach

20 year-old Matthew Wilson of #604-59 Old Garden River Road was arrested on outstanding warrants on Brown Street on the 12th of June just before 1 am. The accused is charged with two counts of breach of probation. The accused is to appear in court on the 13th of August.

Break & Enter

There was one break and enter reported overnight: A residence on Adelaide Street was entered last night between 5 pm and 2 am. A 42 inch plasma flat screen television was reported stolen.
