The following two persons are to appear in bail court this morning:

1) A 21 year-old male was arrested on the 8th of July at 1:05 am on Chambers Avenue and charged with two counts of assault, three counts of breach of probation and one count of mischief. It is alleged that on the 8th of July around 12:45 am the accused assaulted his ex-girlfriend while at a local convenience store by grabbing her and attempting to punch her. A clerk in the store attempted to intervene and assist the victim and was kicked and punched by the accused. It is further alleged that the accused damaged the clerk’s vehicle in the lot by punching it. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation not to communicate with the victim, harass, annoy or molest her and was to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

2) A 16 year-old male youth was arrested on the 7th of July at 7:12 pm on McNabb Street and charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, one count of break, enter and commit and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that in the early morning hours on the 7th of July, the accused broke into a garage in the 200 block of Shannon Road and stole a Honda Motorcycle. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

The following mischief reports were taken yesterday:

1) A vehicle parked on Mcgregor Avenue had a window smashed.

2) Two vehicles on Arden Street had windshields smashed out just after 11 pm.
