Four Arrests made in Relation to Domestic Related Incidents - all are to appear in bail court this morning: 

1) A 21 year-old male was arrested at 12:50 am on the 17th of January and charged with one count of sexual assault, one count of robbery and one count of breach of probation.  It is alleged that on the 16th of January at approximately 10:00 pm the accused attended at the residence of a female that he had a past relationship with, forced her to have sexual intercourse with him, assaulted and stole some money from her.  The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. 

2) A 24 year-old male was arrested at 8:55 pm on the 6th of January on Bruce Street and charged him with two counts of assault for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend while they were walking in that area last night.  No injuries were reported. 

3) A 35 year-old male was arrested at 3:44 pm at his residence on the 16th of January on an outstanding domestic related warrant and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm.  It is alleged that on the 14th of January the accused allegedly called his ex-wife and threatened to attend at her residence and beat her up. 

4)  A 48 year-old female was arrested at his residence on the 16th of January and charged with five counts of breach of a recognizance order. It is alleged that on the 16th of January the accused attended at her ex-boyfriend’s residence in an intoxicated state, got into a verbal argument with him. At the time the accused was on a recognizance order with conditions to keep the peace and be good, reside with her surety, abstain from communicating with the victim and not to molest, harass or physically interfere with him. Further she was to abstain from the consumption of alcohol.

Break and Enter/Theft Reports

  • A residence on Alexander Street was entered yesterday.  A computer and jewellery were reported taken.
  • A residence on Amy Avenue was entered on the 16th of January.  Cash was taken.
  • A business in the 600 block of Great Northern Road was entered Sunday overnight.  A Cash box containing some money was reported taken. 
  • A generator was stolen from the 700 block of Second Line West. 
  • Medication and clothing were reported taken form a vehicle in a parking lot on Bay Street yesterday. 

Mischief Report

  • A fence on Idaho Drive was vandalized.
