Male Arrested for Assault:
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 21 year-old Cody Dunlop of 291 Goulais Avenue on the 9th of January at 1:50 pm at the police station on an outstanding warrant. He was charged with one count of assault in relation to an incident that took place on the 7th of August when he assaulted a female known to him. No injuries wee reported in the incident. The accused is to attend court on the 13th of February.
Female Arrested for Assault:
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 31 year-old Dayna Johnston of #6-33 Crystal Place on the 9th of January at 1:25 pm and charged her with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 9th of January, while at the Sault Area Hospital, the accused assaulted a staff member. No injuries were reported. The accused is to appear in court on the 13th of February.
Break and Enter Reports:
A garage on Goetz Street was entered sometime yesterday morning. A tackle box was reported taken.
A residence in the 1000 block of Wellington Street East was entered yesterday. Jewellery was reported taken.
Mischief Report:
Vehicle tires were reported slashed on Silverbirch.
