Mac's Robbed Again Early this morning city police were called to the Mac’s Mart located at 187 Gore St. regarding an attempted armed robbery. Upon arrival officers were informed that at approx.

Early this morning city police were called to the Mac’s Mart located at 187 Gore St. regarding an attempted armed robbery. Upon arrival officers were informed that at approx. 12:50 am a lone male entered the store pulled out a small paring knife and demanded money from the store clerks. Before any money was handed to the suspect he fled the store. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating this suspect. The description of the wanted male is:
Male, white, 17 - 20 years of age, wearing a dark grey/black hoodie.

The following four persons will be appearing in bail court today.

1. Grant Morden, age 411, of no fixed address.
On Monday Aug 20th city police officers arrested Grant Morden on Tower St. It is alleged that on Aug 17th the accused breached two conditions of his recognizance release by not being in his residence by 10:00pm and by associating with a person he was prohibited from being with. Grant Morden is charged with two counts of breach of recognizance,

2. Donald Vardy, age 19, of no fixed address.
Donald Vardy was arrested at the Sault Ste Marie Police station yesterday afternoon after his surety revoked his bail. Mr. Vardy is not facing any new charges but he will be in bail court on charges of sexual assault and sexual interference.

3. Bradley Robinson, age 41, of 1602 Ryan Ave, Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. It is alleged that at approx. 12:05 am this morning Mr. Robinson was operating his vehicle on Wellington St.W. while under the influence of alcohol. The accused was arrested by the Sault Ste Marie Police Service and transported to the police station for the purpose of providing a breath sample. The accused refuse to provide a sample at the station. Further investigation by police revealed that the accused was under two separate criminal code driving suspensions. As a result the accused charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of failure to provide breath sample and two counts of driving while disqualified.

4. Loretta Waboose, age 20, of 166 South Market St. It is alleged that at approx. 2:20 am this morning Ms Waboose ordered a taxi to transport her to the west end of town. Upon arriving at her destination the accused refused to pay the fare. At the time this incident the accused was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Ms Waboose is charged with one count of fraudulently obtaining transportation and one count of breach of probation.

Charged with Breach

1) At approx. 10:30 am yesterday city police arrest Alfred Peters on a warrant. The warrant, issued on July 10th, was for failing to appear for prints. Alfred Peters, age26, of 43 Crawford St. is charged with one count of breach of undertaking. He will be appearing in court on Sept 24th at 9:00 am.

2) At approx. 1:00 pm yesterday afternoon city police arrested Donat Cyr, age 43, of 42 Cathcart St. for breaching a release order by failing to appear in court. It is alleged that the accused failed to attend court on Aug 13th.
Donat Cyr is charged with one count of breach of an undertaking and he will be appearing in court on Monday Sept 24th at 9:00 am.

Failed to Report Address Change

At approx. 10:20 pm last night city police arrested 32-year-old David Tucci, of 19 Princeton Dr. on a charge of breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that the accused failed to notify police of a change in his address as per his release order. He will be appearing in court on Monday Sept. 24th at 9:00 am

City police investigated two reports of mischief overnight.

A vehicle parked in the 200 block of Hudson St. was damaged and a truck and trailer were damaged in the 100 block of Industrial Court A.
