Male Arrested for Breach of Release Documents: Officers arrested Timothy Wilson, age 28, of 579 Northland Road (main) overnight and charged him with two counts of fail to comply with an undertaking.

Male Arrested for Breach of Release Documents:

Officers arrested Timothy Wilson, age 28, of 579 Northland Road (main) overnight and charged him with two counts of fail to comply with an undertaking.  It is alleged that on the 23rd of April the accused communicated with a person known to him when on an undertaking order not to.  It is further alleged that he breached the condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol.   The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

Two Males Arrested on Outstanding Warrants:

Officers arrested Bryan Binda, age 24, of 46 Hiawatha Drive, Garden River yesterday afternoon on an outstanding warrant and charged him with one count of fail to appear for prints.  He is to appear in court on the 28th of May. 

Officers arrested Brandon Gratton, age 20, of #3-32 Blucher Street last night on an outstanding warrant and charged him with one count of fail to appear court.  He is now scheduled to appear in court on the 28th of May. 

Correction to 24th April 7:30 a.m. news release – Youth charged with attempt murder

Update: 11:25 a.m.

This 16-year-old male youth is currently only facing the charge of administer noxious thing with intent to endanger life, not attempt murder as earlier released [see below].  

The investigation is ongoing.

Original news release

Investigation Services concluded an investigation into an allegation that a 16 year-old male youth attempted to poison a female youth known to him on the 14th of March 2012. 

As a result, the youth was arrested yesterday morning and has been charged with one count of attempt murder and one count of administer noxious thing with intent to endanger life. 

The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

Break and Enter/Theft Reports:

  • A residence on Second Avenue was broken into last night.  A laptop and cash were reported stolen.
  • A residence on Beech Street was broken into yesterday morning.  An Emerson 32 inch flat screen television, a DVD player and some tools were reported stolen.
  • A garage on Carlbert Street was entered on the 23rd sometime between 1 am and 6 am.  Two 15 packs of beer and two racing bikes were stolen.  Bike descriptions – 21-speed specialized road bike, red and white and a CCM Hyper mountain bike. 
  • A storage facility on Melville Road was broken into.  Nothing was reported taken.

Mischief Reports:

  • A door handle was broken off a vehicle on Shannon Road.
  • A window at a business on Oakland Avenue was smashed with a rock.
