Three Males Arrested For Thefts from Several Vehicles in East end: At approximately 2:40 am this morning city police were dispatched to Garden Avenue for a complaint of youths going through vehicles in that area.
Three Males Arrested For Thefts from Several Vehicles in East end:

At approximately 2:40 am this morning city police were dispatched to Garden Avenue for a complaint of youths going through vehicles in that area. When officers arrived they located the three males in the area and at the time they were all found in possession of a number of items that they had stolen from several vehicles in the area. A Kodak Digital camera, a video game, change and gift cards were all recovered.
As a result, 18 year-old Julian Morin of 48 Lorna Drive was charged with three counts of possession of stolen property and three counts of theft under $5,000.00. He is to appear in court on the 27th of October.
Two male youths, aged 17 and 15 were also charged with the same offences. Both are to appear in court on the 28th of October.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant:

18 year-old Joshua Smythe of 58 James Street was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 24th of September at 8:47 am at his residence. He has been charged with one count of fail to appear for prints from the 16th of September.

Property Crimes:

Break and Enter Reported:

A residence in the 300 block of Albert Street West was entered sometime overnight on the 24th of September. A purse was reported stolen

Mischief Reports:

- A front picture window of a residence in the 100 block of Lewis Road was smashed by a rock sometime overnight on the 24th of September.
- A vehicle parked on Macdonald Avenue was egged on the 24th of September.

Theft Report:

A bike was stolen on Grace Street.

Pedestrian on Trunk Road Struck by Vehicle:

On the 24th of September at 5:34 pm city police were dispatched to an accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian on Trunk Road at Adeline Avenue. It is alleged that a Dodge Ram pick up being operated by a 38 year-old female, was southbound on Adeline Street and had just made a stop at the red light at Trunk Road. When the left turn signal was activated, the pick up truck started to make the left hand turn onto Trunk Road when it struck a 67 year-old male pedestrian that was crossing Trunk Road in a northbound direction from the southeast corner against the “don’t walk” signal. The male was sent to hospital by ambulance for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries and was charged with Pedestrian disobey “don’t walk” signal under the Highway Traffic Act.
